Oil corporation is going to revoke the permission of gas industrialists who do not have PDO (Product Delivery Order) even with permission to operate gas industry. The Corporation issued a notice on Sunday warning that it would revoke the permission of the non-PDO industry.
Registered gas industries should operate the PDO industry in accordance with the rules of Nepal Oil Corporation. However, after 2071 Magh 14, the industries under construction have not yet obtained PDOs with the permission of the corporation to construct new and branch industries of LP gas. Only the place is occupied. The gas industry has warned that the corporation will revoke its permission after refusing to take up PDOs.
Spokesperson of the Nepal Oil Corporation Birendra Goet said that some gas entrepreneurs who were holding a license refused to take the PDO. According to Goet, 90 days is given to the industry which has not taken the PDO after registration.
He informed that the corporation will revoke the permission granted by the industries even if the PDO is not taken within the specified 90 days.
"We have notified LP Gas Industries to obtain the PDO pursuant to Regulation 4 of the corporation's LP Gas Regulation 2065 (with amendment)," Goethe, a corporation spokesman, told Online News, "If the PDO is not taken by the stubborn, the permission of the corporation will be revoked."
